Power Update Jan 01, 2013 Reliance’s Chhatrasal coal block achieves forest clearance For its Sasan Ultra Mega Power Project, the Anil Ambani Group’s Reliance Power has got the first stage forest clearance for the Chhatrasal coal block, which is attached to the Sasan Project. The first unit of the project is scheduled to be commissioned in January. Two other mines of the project, Moher and Moher-Amroli, have already started production. Together, the three mines have enough coal to fire both Sasan and Chitrangi power projects.
